Meet Gracie Byrd Jones, Documentary Wedding Photographer
I hope my photographs serve as little treasures of documented memories that stay with you for the rest of your lives. I love weddings because they reveal the raw unscripted magic that is love and life. My ultimate desire is for you to enjoy your wedding day and spend less time in front of my camera. I want you to feel happy and completely at ease throughout your day, and when you are in front of my camera, the experience is fluid and fast. We have fun, we laugh, we move quickly or pause for a portrait so that you can take in your surroundings. Photography allows for pauses with your loved one. To me, the role of photographer is about being your advocate just as much as it is about making art from your day. I have had the pleasure of capturing weddings for over a decade now, traveling across the globe to some really incredible places. My pictures have been recognized by their journalistic yet chic feel because of my love for fashion and editorial styles as well. I live in Austin with my family and believe God has given me this gift to serve others.
