I began shooting weddings during my photography studies at the savannah college of art and design. After graduating with my degree in photography, I lived in Africa for 2 years, exploring the world of photo journalism and documentary, continuing on to other countries to tell other stories. I love stepping into people’s stories, which is what inspires my pictures, paying attention moment by moment to what is always unfolding. The journey of capturing weddings has taken me from coast to coast, to Europe, Mexico, Wyoming, and all over Texas. My pictures have been recognized by their journalistic yet chic feel because of my love for fashion and editorial styles as well. I live in Austin with my husband and I am so happy to do what I do.
